The Tokyo Metropolitan Government would like to express its deepest sympathies to all victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Due to the effects of the earthquake, a shortage of electrical power within those areas supplied by the Tokyo Electric Power Company has required that businesses located within Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures take steps to both conserve electricity and reduce their energy consumption. In cooperating with such measures, some companies have moved to change their business hours. For the latest information regarding such matters, please refer to official corporate websites, etc.
It is the sincerest hope of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government that all within the disaster-impacted areas will be able to resume their normal lives at the earliest opportunity.
