The Tokyo Metropolitan Government would like to express its deepest sympathies to all victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Due to the continued concern about a shortage of electrical power within those areas supplied by the Tokyo Electric Power Company as a result of the earthquake, Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures are taking steps to both conserve electricity and reduce their energy consumption while making every effort to reconstruct the disaster-impacted areas. It is the sincerest hope of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government that all within the disaster areas will be able to resume their normal lives at the earliest opportunity.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government held the "Tokyo Investment and Business Seminars 2012" in Dusseldorf and Munich, Germany.
